Very fine used on cover to Whitehaven from Egremont. these towns were well known for the famous late use of distinctive Maltese cross cancellation of Whitehaven from 1841 and used up to 1864. on the 1841 penny red and also recorded on the 1841 2d blue issue. This is a great reference for the Maltese cross collector.
